TAOIST BLESSING CEREMONY FOR NEW CAR

When I bought my first car, a Perodua Kancil, it was my godmother who performed the blessing ceremony on the car for me.  It was my Taoist sifu (pictured above) who did the blessing for my second and third cars, a Proton Wira Aeroback and a Toyota Vios.  My family and I have been going to this sifu for many, many years.  I recall that I was about 15 years old when I first went to this temple.  My parents had taken me there to pray for success in my examinations and I have been going there ever since.
Last Saturday, my sifu again performed the blessing ceremony for my fourth car.  This type of blessing ceremony for an automobile is to keep it from bad influences and to bless it in God's name.
