SUFFERING FOR ONES ART

 Jared Leto won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Role for his part as a transexual named Rayon in "Dallas Buyers Club".  I haven't watched the movie yet but judging from the stills from it, I can say that 40 year old Leto does look like a woman.  Look at those long, slim legs.
In preparation for his part, I read that he starved himself for a month as he was playing an HIV postive Trans woman.  He also waxed his body hair and eyebrows for the movie.  Now this is called suffering for ones art.

 Anyway, he was rewarded with an Oscar.
