MEETING UP WITH FORMER STUDENT

I went to the bank to fill in forms for a standing order to service my car loan.  To my delight, the officer at the counter was a former student of mine.  His name is Shahrin.  I taught him from 1995 to 1996.
This goes to show that not all students who went to a vocational school end up as a technician or engineer.  I have former students who ventured into other professions.  Let me see, there is a chef, an actress, a few businessmen, a first officer in the merchant navy, a biologist and quite a number of teachers.
