MIND OUR SPENDING

Yesterday morning, I turned on the telly and there was this show with TV host Daphne Iking interviewing some ladies about how they were going to cope with the rising costs of living.  I remember one of the guests saying that on the way to work, she would be stopping at a Chap Fan (economy rice) stall to get her lunch.  This would save her some money.  Another lady suggested writing down all the expenses in the Triple 5 book to keep tabs of spending.
Then in the afternoon, when I again turned on the telly there was a programme in Mandarin where the host was getting advice from a financial consultant on how to manage funds. Yeah.  All this on the first day of 2014.  Looks like the TV stations are helping us make one of our resolutions for 2014; that is to mind our spending.
