A long time ago when I was much, much younger, furniture made from cane was quite common but it is not so nowadays. I guess it is because it is hard to source for cane and the price is expensive. Plus there the number of cane furniture makers might have dwindled through the years. Or is there another reason? Any better informed person out there who can enlighten me and others.
