BUYING HALAL KUIH RAYA FOR MY MUSLIM FRIENDS

Last week I went and ordered halal Nga Ku crisps from a Muslim lady at the market.  She is a Chinese Muslim married to a Malay man.  Her son who is an ustaz (religious teachers) now was once my student.
I have to be careful with the cookies that I buy to serve my Muslim guests as they might not be halal because the wok or pan used to fry them had been used to cook pork or alcohol.
