At the beginning of the year, I went to the temple to pray to Tai Sui for blessings and last Saturday (7 December), I went back to the same temple to repay Tai Sui for protecting and blessing me for a year.
In Taoism, those whose Chinese Zodiac is offending, orin conflict or clashes with the Tai Sui of the year are advised to go through a prayer session with a Taoist Priest at the temple at the start of the year (after 4 Feb 2012 - 立春) to ask for blessings in obtaining Peace and Good Fortune throughout the year. Then at the end of the year starting from the 8th of November (before Winter Solstice 冬至 22 December) go back again to the same temple to repay his kindness.
