HOUSE FOR NA TUK KONG (拿督公)

The little house like shrine in the picture is home to Na Tuk Kong (Chinese: 拿督公) or Datuks.   They are local guardian spirits worshipped in Malaysia, Singapore and parts of Indonesia. The shrines are usually painted red or yellow and cane be found by the roadside and under trees.  Some homes also have Na Tuk Kong shrines.
