I bought the sushi above from a hypermarket for lunch. At the same time, I wanted to get ideas to make my second batch of sushis. I bought two Maki-shushi and one Temaki Sushi (the one with the cone). Hopefully with practice, I will be able to make better ones.
Sushi as I remember it was always made with fish and traditionally eaten with your fingers. Nowadays just about anything seems to go into sushi - chicken, beef. A friend told me that it was called LA (from Los Angeles) Sushi. I'm not sure what the case is in Japan as I haven't been there for a while but friends tell me that many Japanese use chopsticks now to eat it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I too have never set foot in Japan. Love to go in future.
