As the Hajj Travelogue Exhibition draws to a close, another follows suit, the one on Diwali. Yesterday afternoon my librarians and I collected all the rice grains used to form the peacock Rangoli. We put them into 2 containers. According to my Hindu colleague and students, the coloured rice is used to feed the birds and other creatures. So next week we will do so with the rice in the containers.
