Upin and Ipin are two very popular Malaysian cartoon characters from LES' Copaque Production. At Mydin Ipoh, there is a Upin & Ipin restaurant. On the wall of the restaurant are images of the cartoon icons in different attires. The outlet also sells Upin & Ipin merchandise such as T-shirts, bags, and notebooks.
This restaurant serves Malay fast food such as fried rice, fried chicken, curry mee and mee rebus.
My aunt and I tried out the food at this restaurant during our latest visit to Mydin. She ordered the Chicken rice while I had curry noodles.
The restaurant opens daily from 10am to 10pm.
Other Upin & Ipin restaurants are in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam and Johor Baru.
