NEW TABLE FOR CNY

Before the start of the Lunar New Year, the Chinese consider it lucky to bring in a new object. It can be a set of furniture or an auspicious object like a vase or a small ornament.

Also when we bring in a new item into our homes for the new year, it must be accompanied by the removal of an old one. Perhaps there are chipped plates or a rickety old chair.  Chipped dishes and broken furniture bring bad luck, like broken energy. No matter how expensive they are, just throw them away or send them to be recyled. It is one of the most effective ways to get rid of bad luck.

When it is nearing year's end, I will check if I have any broken furniture or spoilt things so that I can replace them.  For the coming new year, I have already found a piece of furniture that I want to send for recycling and that is my computer table.  After 4 years, it is already in bad shape.  I have scouted around for a replacement and have found it.  You can see it above.  I thought I'd wait until December to get it.  Unfortunately my table gave way and I had to make my purchase sooner than I had planned.
