FIRST OF NINE DAY VEGETARIAN DIET

I started going on the 9-day vegetarian diet when I was 15 years old and only skipped a few years when I was in mourning for my grandparents and my dad.   I went on this diet last year even after my mum passed away as I was told that it was okay to so.  I just could not go inside the temple to pray as I wad in mourning.
Well the 9 Emperor Gods Festival started today and will continue until next Sunday.  So today Is the first of nine days of being totally vegetarian.
