Mid-Autumn Festival this year falls on September 19 which also happens to be the day Kamariah and her husband will be taking a flight to Mecca for their pilgrimage. Last year I was in mourning for my late mother and couldn't really celebrate. This year I might get Amir and his two brothers to celebrate with me. I will buy them each a lantern and then we can have a mini lantern procession on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
