HERB ENTHUSIASTS

I had two visitors to the Herb Garden yesterday morning.  My student Vasan's mum had asked if she could come for a visit to look at the plants.  I was more than delighted and we set the date for Thursday, 25th September.  She brought along her good friend, Noni who has a great love of herbs.  Actually she was more excited than Nancy to visit the Herb Garden.
Here you see Noni, Baz and Nancy posing for a picture at the entrance to the Herb Garden.
Vasan looks on as his mum takes a picture of the Pagoda plant.  His mum told me that she loves plants especially the flowering kind.
Noni was plucking the shoots of the Mengkudu plant to eat as ulam.  She told me that from young, her grandpa had instilled on her and her siblings to love of eating raw herbs.
