CANNA FLOWER

On seeing this solitary Canna flower blooming near the Aeon car park, I couldn't resist taking a snap of it using my handphone camera.
To the Thais, Canna is associated withe Lord Buddha.  The olden Thais believe that growing cannas would help protect their homes. Father’s Day (5th December) in Thailand is considered one of the most important celebration in the country and this day, Canna (dok puta-raksa in Thai) is the flower presented to fathers.
