OMG! ON THE VERGE OF DRYING UP

I had a shock when I went back to college yesterday evening.  I discovered that the water in my container of aquatic plants had dried up.  All the fish inside had also perished.  The janitors had forgotten to top up the water and the poor fish died from dehydration.  OMG!  Poor things.
I spent some time cleaning the container and threw away the plants that had dried up.  The okay looking ones were given First Aid.  I then refilled the container with water.
