GONE OUTSTATION

 I had the intention of visiting my friend, Siti Mariam this morning but found that no one was at home.  When I called her, she said she had gone outstation. Sigh!  So there was one less house I visited for Raya.
By the way, in Malaysia and Singapore when we say outstation, it means that we are out of town but in the same country.  In other countries, outstation refers to a station in a remote or sparsely populated location/outpost.
