FAMOUS MASTAN GHANI MEE REBUS IN TELUK INTAN

I made a new food discovery while on duty at the Teluk Intan Leaning Clock Tower Square:  Mee Rebus or Mee Kuah RojakMastan Ghani.  I was told by my friends that a visit to this place is not complete without a visit to Mastan Ghani for Mee and Rojak.  I chose the Mee rebus on recommendation by Haji Hasnin.  Like the standard mee rebus, this is noodle in sweet potato gravy served with fried beancurd, cucur udang, boiled egg, shallots and green chilies. They provide you with a slice of lime for you to squeeze onto the noodles for the extra tangy flavour.  The ingredient I like the most is the cucur udang. It is crispy out, soft inside, with equal proportion of flour and prawn. The taste is yummy.   Mastan Ghani stall (GPS 04 01.563, E 101 01.198) is in Jalan Selat, near the Leaning Tower in town. There are two more branches.
The mee rebus is RM3.50 a plate with two choices — mee rebus or mee kuah rojak.
