ENGLISH VISITOR

Last week, the college was abuzz with the news that there was a Mat Salleh (a Malay term for White Man) visitor.  Of course, the college busybody went to check.  True enough, there he was, an Englishman by the name of Jamie Carter.  He is one of the Liaison  Officers from England whose expertise have been imported to help put the level of the English Language a notch higher.
Jamie came because of the English Language Day camp organised by the district education office.  The camp will be held at the college hall on the 24th of August and he came early to check out the facilities for a Scavenger Hunt that he will be organising.  I don't think I can reveal the places or the information that he has looked at as that just might leak out some of the answers.
