When I was tidying and cleaning my house last weekend, I noticed that one of the trailing sockets that I had was rather old and it had no surge protector. The other one that I used in the kitchen did not look too good either. They were actually not spoilt and still usable but then I decided to buy new ones with better safety features. In my opinion, it would be safer and more economical in the long run. Faulty electric and electronical items might cause damage to the appliances and in a worse case scenario, they might start a fire.
