Like thousands of others in Malaysia who wanted to pay homage to Lord Buddha on the day of his birth, Lai Yoong and I went to the Wat Sribunyamagaram Temple in Tambun Road Ipoh to do so. Besides celebrating the birthday of Lord Buddha, Wesak is a spiritual celebration for Buddhists, serving as a reminder for all to live out the teachings of Buddha.
