I love eating Nasi Kunyit with rendang. However I would only eat the gravy and not the chicken. When people cook chicken rendang, potatoes are not used but then when Kamariah cooks it, she would add potatoes so that I could eat them. Fattening though it may be but I can eat two helpings. Thankfully my friend only makes it once in a while.
By the way, I refer to the yellow glutinous rice as nasi kunyit while my friends call it nasi pulut kuning.
