HAVING A FUN TIME MAKING DIY GARDEN STEPPING STONE

I got the idea of making garden stepping stones using a large leaf and concrete from a Website called Pinterest.  I thought that it would make a great activity for my students and also the concrete stones could be used to decorate the herb garden.

 Here you can see Selimi and Vasan testing out the first leaf. They told me that it was too watery but that helped them to gauge just how much cement, sand and water to use for the next one.

 Here is what they managed to come up with.

If we are successful, our garden stepping stone would look like the one below.  We made 5 and left them to dry.  Hopefully the concrete will harden by tomorrow morning.
