USING COFFEE FILTERS TO LINE FLOWER POTS

When I do my planting in a pot, I'd usually use small stones or pebbles to cover the drainage hole or holes.  However, I find that a bit of the soil will still fall through.  Recently I saw this useful tip in Pinterest on using coffee filters to do the trick.  

All you need to do is line the flowerpots and planters with coffee filters to stop soil from falling through the drainage hole.
