ECO GARDEN
The ashes of my parents are interned at the Paradise Memorial Park. Usually one would feel eerie visiting the resting place for the dearly departed but then whenever I go there I feel at peace and at ease. Why? Because the place is surrounded by lake, hills and greenery. The Feng Shui for this place is supposed to be good as Yin Feng Shui masters have gone over the landscape. My Aunt Linda has bought a niche there and I too would want to book a plot there as my final resting place as well.
Since last year an Eco Garden and Relaxation Area has been delveloped on green roof initiatives and it is one of the only one in existence within the bereavement care industry in Malaysia. The green roof is completely covered with grass and supported by additional layers, i.e. root barrier, drainage, irrigation systems (using natural water sources), etc.
The construction of this structure is in line with the company's undertaking in corporate social responsibilities towards contributing back to society. Besides reduced heating, it also encourages natural habitat creation and filter pollutants and carbon dioxide.
