ON THE TENTH DAY OF THE SNAKE YEAR

 Today is the first day of the lunar new year and the tenth day of the Snake Year.  So those who were born on 12.14 a.m. on 4th February were already born in the year of the snake.  However there are some who still consider that the first day of the lunar new year is the beginning of the Snake Year.
When I went to the Kuan Yin T'ung Temple yesterday morning, I saw this statue of a cobra in the temple.

 Not to be left out, my aunt also placed some coins on the snake statue for good luck.
