HAKKA STYLE DUMPLINGS



The lovely pink coloured dumpling pictured above is known as “Cha Guo” or Hakka style dumplings.  My friends, Carol and Shemon, gave them to me to try.  They told me it was Ho Poh Kueh or Hakka Kueh.
The Pink-dyed dumplings had preserved vegetable (mui choy), grounded peanuts, dried shrimps and Chinese chives in them.
