FRIED NGA KU

This is my first container of fried Nga Ku or Arrowroot for the Chinese New Year.  When my Aunt May was alive, she'd fry lots and lots of them and distribute it to her friends and relatives.  She taught me to make them too but mine never really turned out as delicious as hers.  Furthermore, I find that if I make them,  I can come up with at least 4 big containers and then I'll stuff myself silly.  So nowadays I prefer to buy them from the market and limit myself to eating a container a week at the most.
