FLOWERS FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR


Me with Brother Lek.  He is holding a pot of plant that he had decorated with CNY ornaments while I am holding an Azalea that I bought from him.  This is one new year plant that I usually buy every year.






Though I was told by my elders not to have any Chinese New Year decorations adorning my house, I couldn't resist buying the plants associated with the Spring Festival for my garden. I reasoned that since I buy plants regularly for my garden in Sitiawan and Ipoh, buying them now would mean that I am adding to what I already have.
