Though I got to visit Taiwan, I did not get to visit the famous range of mountains in Taiwan known as Alishan or Mount Ali. The guide said that it was not advisable to go to Alishan especially as the weather in December was rainy and unpredictable.
My consolation was that I got to visit the exhibition of Alishan at the Dao Yuan Airport. However, this is not the real thing. Perhaps, I'll get to go another time.

Alishan is pleasant but no more than that. I found it overrated. I don't want to knock Taiwan though. It's a great place with lots of really fantastic places to visit.
