USING FLOUR TO ABSORB OIL FROM FLOOR

Each time I do some frying, I find that the tiled floor of my kitchen becomes greasy. No matter how many times I mop the floor, it would still be greasy. I tried using floor cleaners but they weren't that effective. Then I tried using talcum powder and it worked. Nowadays I use flour as it is much cheaper.
What I do is sprinkle flour all over the tiled floor and leave it there for a short while to absorb the oil. After that I remove the flour with a dustpan and broom. Finally I mop the floor and there is no more oil. Believe me, it works.
