KUEH BAKAR MADU

I have always referred to this biscuit as Kuih Bangkit but my Malay friends call it Kueh Bakar. Anyway, it is the same type.  As the saying goes, a rose by any other name is still a rose.
I saw them on sale while I was having breakfast at a Malay stall.  Each bottle costs RM10.  The ones above are called Kueh Bakar Madu as honey is added along with sugar, flour, coconut milk and eggs.
