GETTING RID OF GREASE FROM TILED FLOOR

I remember that during my college and university days, I would cook whenever I was feeling stressed.  My house mates in Bristol, Annabelle and Diana would vouch for me when I say I can cook up a grand meal to de-stress. We actually took turns to cook but I would volunteer to do so when my nerves were on edge.
As it is holiday time now, I have time to do some cooking at home.  As a matter of fact I enjoy cooking very much. Whenever I cook, I will share the food with my close friends so that I don't overindulge.  If I say so myself, I am not too bad a cook.
For the past couple of days, I had cooked at home and as a result the white tiled floor in my kitchen has gotten really greasy.  The greasiness has even spread to the living room and the stickiness is driving me nuts. So far I have mopped the floor for a few times but it is still greasy.   Khairah told me to use newspapers to wipe the surface.  I followed her advice but the floor remained greasy.  Then I decided to seek help from my trusted Aide, The Internet.  It seems that baking soda, dish washing detergent, vinegar and lemon juice are some of the natural ingredients that we can use to degrease.
So with this information at hand, I decided to use lemon juice and washing detergent since I have them at home.  I also read that using warm water would help as well.  So warm water it would be.
For those who share the same problem, here is a degreasing recipe

DEGREASING RECIPE
Combine 1 1/4 cup white vinegar, 4 tbsp. lemon juice with 1 1/2 gallons of warm water. Mop the floor with this solution and then rinse the floor using clean water.  Remember to not let this solution soak on the floor.

By the way, lemon juice is a great cleaning agent, not only is it environmentally friendly but it also works. Lemon juice can remove stains, whiten clothing and also cleans brass and copper. This is a guide about cleaning with lemon juice.

I tried the lemon but it didn't work. I think I will use talcum powder as it worked for me last time.
