WONG LAI

 I really marvel at the creativity some Chinese people have when it comes to making offerings in the form of pineapples to the deities.  The Cantonese word for pineapple is Wong Lai which is homophonic to "Wealth coming my way" which is why this fruit is so popular as a gift for the heavenly beings.
The first pineapple is fashioned from sweets and colour paper while the rest are made from origami.
