PAYING RESPECT TO THE NINE EMPEROR GODS

Today is the first day of the Nine Emperor Gods festival and I went with Lai Yoong to the Tow Boh Keong Temple in Ayer Tawar to pay respect to Them.  We went in the evening after I had gotten home from work.
Here is the Yellow Tortoise that I had bought from Ipoh as offering to the deities.
The main hall of the temple and the altar for Dou Mu Yuan Jun (斗母元君) .
Altar for the child deity, Na Cha.
Lai Yoong praying to the deities.
Offerings for the deities in the form of apples, pears and oranges.
The passageway below the main altar.  Devotees pass through this passageway to improve their luck.
The secret room where the Nine Emperor Gods are housed during the duration of the festival.
