The college counsellor, Cikgu Hakim's wife is unwell. Her doctor has come up with the diagnosis that one of her kidneys is weak and needs more tests in Kuala Lumpur. I suggested that she should try drinking the infusion made from a herb called Pecah Kaca or the Black Face General. This herb is said to be a traditional remedy for kidney problems. Yesterday evening, I showed the plant to him and he took some leaves back for his wife. He also took a cutting back to plant in his house. I told him that all he needed to do was to place 2 to 3 leaves into a glass, pour hot water into it and let it brew for at least 15 minutes before letting his wife drink the infusion. Hopefully, it does help give her some relief.
