Recently there was news that the lead vocalist of the South Korean group, 2PM, Kim Junsu has announced that “Because of a family matter, it was decided to change my name. Official stage name will be ‘Jun.K’ as it was before but the real name has changed to ‘Min-Jun.’ Junsu will no longer be used in the future.”
Since he said that it was related to his family, I guess that his parents might have consulted a Feng Shui master or an astrologer and found that his name was not too suitable. Like the Chinese, the Koreans believe in changing their names to improve their luck.
