In Feng Shui, the kitchen, living room and the home office are good areas to display these time pieces. However, one is advised to use small clocks for the bed room. This is because the bedroom is the place for absolute relaxation, the place where time "slows down".
Also, a a battery-operated alarm clock is better for our health than an electric as simplest electric alarm clocks will create electro magnetic fields.
One thing to remember about clocks is that if a clock is broken or not running, either fix it or throw it out. If it is broken, things will literally freeze in the area it’s placed in represents. Time will stand still. So, if you find that you are not making much progress lately, then perhaps you should check to see if your clocks are running correctly.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a clock must be running on time, if it is running fast it can cause chaos in your life. You can be too much “ahead of your time”. People might not be in sync with you and hence you can miss out on a lot of opportunities.
Here are some places that are not suitable for displaying clocks:
- Do not display clocks so that you can see them first thing as you enter the house. If a clock is the first thing you see upon entering a room, you will always feel short of time.
- Do not display metal clocks in the East, the Health & Family area of the house.
