Here is another traditional Malay kuih (cookie) that I want to introduce to you. Actually, I was served this kuih when I attended a Hari Raya Open house recently. The name of the cookie is Kuih Putu Beras or Rice Cookies. For your information, putu beras is made from glutinous rice which is fried in a wok without oil and ground till they become powdery flour. The really good ones melt in your mouth.
