CHERIMOYA

The heart shaped fruit above is called cherimoya. This tropical fruit native to the Andean valley is actually a cousin of our Anona or Custard Apple (Annona squamosa). Like the custard apple, the cherimoya is sweet, pulpy and fragrant rich.
Scientific name: Annona cherimola.
