I seem to have a great affinity with primates as I keep encountering them at my home, my workplace and even at temples. My monkey friends that you see above are the residents of Gunung Layang-Layang or Kite Mountain where the T'ung Wah Tung Temple is 100 metres above the ground. On the day of my visit, there were at least a dozen monkeys that had come out to play. I was warned to hold tight to my handbag for fear that they might be snatched by these creatures.
