GONE IS THE ROOF GARDEN

I enjoy driving along the Pasir Panjang road leading to the Tua Pek Kong Temple as there are lots of traditional Malay houses to look at and lots of greenery. There is one sight that I especially look out for during my drives and that is the house with the roof covered with greenery (as shown in the pictures above).  Imagine the shock I had when I found out that the house had been torn down and in its place we get the blue brick house with the zinc roof. Sigh!!!
