Monday, July 23 2012 is Chokhor Duchen which commemorates the Buddha’s first sermon and the teaching of the Four Noble Truths. Chokhor Duchen is a Merit Multiplying Day as it is Buddha's First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. Go on a vegetarian diet, chant some Buddhist sutras/mantras, give donations and do good deeds to create merits on this day. Whatever merits created will be multiplied 10 million times.
By the way, if one does bad things, then the demerits would be multiplied the same time as well. So be careful what you do on this day!
