DRAGON ENCIRCLING BUILDING


I saw this picture of a building with a dragon encircling it.  I wonder where it is and what the building is for? Anyone has any ideas?

    It's in a temple complex in Bangkok, Thailand called Wat Samphran.

    I haven't been there but I learned of it when I was doing research for a trip I planned which somehow never came about. I was checking some photographs and it was suggested that the building might be living quarters for nuns.
