My friend, Ishak invited me to his birthday cum thanksgiving gathering. The colour theme stated in the invitation card was red as he said that this colour is auspicious. According to Ishak, he had a lot to be thankful for as his life was spared when he managed to survive a serious asthma attack a couple of months ago. He invited all the students from his class, 5 Science 2. He said that his birthday celebration was one of the activities for the Program Guru Penyayang (Caring Teacher Programme) which all schools have to carry out.
In the picture above, you can see me wearing a red blouse and holding a present before I went for the gathering which started at around 10.30 this morning.
