Mother's Day 2012 will most definitely be the most memorable one for me as I had to spend it with my mum at the Home for the Senior Citizens. It pains me to see my mother becoming more and more frail. She seems to have lost her fighting spirit and is uncooperative in whatever treatment we have sought for her. These few days she has begun to start refusing food and this is indeed worrying. The people at the Home are really monitoring her and taking her vitals regularly. I have already told them to send her to the hospital if her condition worsens. I will give a tinker to Dr Wong to make a house call to check on her later today.
Since I couldn't take my mum out for a meal, I had to spend it with her at the Home. Unfortunately, she seemed to be dozing off ever so often. I also bought some face towels to give to the other residents of the Home as Mother's Day present. In the pictures posted here, you can see Auntie Linda helping me to present the gifts to all the grannies plus the workers at the Home.
