Today is Earth Day. This is a day specially dedicated to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment. In 2009, the
United Nations designated April 22
International Mother Earth Day.
I too wanted to show my love for Mother Earth on this day by buying a few pots of flowers to add to those I have in my porch. Also I visited a nursery to look at the beautiful plants there. It is nothing grand but at least I did something. How about you?
I added three new pots of chrysanthemums to my porch in celebration of Earth day. Furthermore, April is my birthday month and so I wanted the front of my house to have flowers blooming.
