IMPLEMENTING 5S SYSTEM: STANDARDIZE

For this entire week, my colleagues and I have been busy making our college ready for the inspectors who will come to check on the 5S System.  My assistant, Asiah, and I have been sorting out the things in the store room and also the racks.  Those that are old and spoilt are thrown out or sent for recycling.  Those that we need would be arranged systematically and labelled.
At present we have entered into the standardizing stage. The prerequisite of this step is to develop an effective approach to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
In the above pictures, the chief clerk who is one of the Quality Controllers of the 5S Programme came for an initial audit of the library.  In the last two pictures, you can see two boys helping Asiah to rearrange the games sets.
