FLOWERS FOR THE DEARLY DEPARTED

I spotted all these flower arrangements when I was looking for something for the library.  The thought that crossed my mind was that some big shot or rich man must have passed away for so many flowers to be ordered.  For your information, yellow and white chrysanthemums are popular flowers in arrangements sent for the deceased.

At university we were going to put on a display for a graduation function - the display being a mix of ferns and chrysanthemums. Since we have so many Chinese students I checked the internet and found that chrysanthemums generally have positive connotations for Asians. Now I'm beginning to wonder.

It is okay if you add other colours to the display.
